Vibrant, child-drawn characters in the latest "Superprieks" clothing collection

Date
3 October, 2024
Cheerful mushrooms with red caps, a mischievous potato, and a cat with a slipper on its head are just a few of the characters created by children featured in the new clothing collection designs at "Superprieks," a fashion shop jointly created by SOS Children's Villages and the technology company Tet. All profits from the sale of these clothes go to support SOS Children's Villages Latvia.

"Superprieks," the fashion shop created by SOS Children's Villages and Tet, has launched its second clothing collection. The designs are based on artwork made by SOS Children's Villages families, inspired by uplifting images, videos, and online games. T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and other apparel with designs by children raised in SOS families are available for purchase at the online store www.superprieks.lv, created in collaboration with Printful.

Ilze Paleja, Director of SOS Children's Villages Association of Latvia, says, "We are very grateful to Tet for the long-term collaboration, which not only provides basic needs and a safe environment for children growing up in SOS Villages, but also offers the chance to get a good education, develop their talents, and spend their free time meaningfully. We are delighted that the 'Superprieks' shop continues its activity, and a new collection of clothes and accessories featuring children’s drawings has been created. Everyone who shops here contributes to giving children the opportunity to experience a true childhood."

Tet CEO Uldis Tatarčuks adds, "Shared joy is double the joy – a truth proven for over ten years in our meaningful collaboration with SOS Children’s Village families. By transforming children’s drawings into real clothing, we help show that connecting imagination with reality is just a matter of doing. We are all united, and every good deed impacts the future we will live in. I encourage everyone to join in and buy stylish and original Superprieks collection clothing to bring joy to the young designers!"

This project continues the longstanding partnership between Tet and SOS Children's Villages. For several years, Tet has ensured that SOS mothers and foster mothers have the chance to improve their computer skills through training, while children growing up in SOS families and foster families regularly participate in various educational and entertaining activities, such as going to the movies, museums, and sports events.

Tet and SOS Children's Villages invite everyone to visit the Superprieks.lv shop and purchase clothing for themselves or as a gift that brings joy to both the recipient and its creators—the children in SOS foster families!
