The book was written in honor of the 25th anniversary of the SOS Children's Villages and is dedicated to encouraging sincere and open conversations in the host families about the family history of the hosted children. The work experience of SOS children's villages and the recommendations of psychologists show that open conversations about the family history of the children admitted help to build healthier and more trusting relationships in the new family. Of course, it should be done in a way appropriate to the child's age, which is why this beautifully illustrated children's book was created. The author of the book's illustrations is Krista Bitmete. It will be useful for both adoptive parents and foster parents, guardians and all other interested parties. Thanks to the financial support of SIF, the book will be available free of charge to every host family in out-of-family care support centers throughout Latvia.

You can receive the ordered cards in our office in Stabu street 33 during our work hours from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM. It is possible to arrange delivery via the post office, Omniva, or come to another creative agreement. The delivery costs are covered by the customer.
